Rachel Valliere is a book designer and champion of the entrepreneurial spirit. She founded Printed Page Studios to help nonfiction authors grow their impact, income, and authority through collaborative, strategy-driven design. She has been featured in Forbes and has designed hundreds of books for a wide variety of genres and

authors, including Grant Cardone. Rachel has always loved reading, writing, art, and the printed page. After originally studying journalism in college, she discovered book design as a career over thirteen years ago and has never looked back. Rachel resides in Indiana, where her dog, Roo, and horse, Chance, keep her quite busy. She also enjoys reading and hiking in her spare time.

Business Brand & Services

Printed Page Studios was founded on the belief that books change the world, and quality design is an integral part of that. Rachel believes in a holistic approach to book design. It's not just about cranking out a trendy cover and whipping up an interior layout. She works to understand your book's message, your target audience, and your goals for publishing. Every cover design begins with an in-depth questionnaire that will guide you through

sharing all the relevant information, followed by a design strategy kick-off call to answer any questions and establish the design direction. This allows her to create a cohesive book design that speaks to your audience and maximizes the impact and marketability of your book. Design is communication—it helps convey a message and is a deciding factor on whether or not someone picks up a book. Readers judge the quality of a book’s content by the quality of its design. Getting the design right is what allows your book to instantly connect with potential readers on a subconscious level. One of the biggest perks of self-publishing is the freedom to have final say in all aspects of your project. In keeping with this spirit, Rachel gives all her clients full ownership of their book files and the design copyright. That means if you ever choose to work with another designer in the future, you have full freedom and control, and will have all the original files that you need to do whatever you want.

Publishing Services:

Rachel offers full book cover and interior design with files prepared for any printer (and ebook conversion), file upload services to the printer of your choice, PDF design (i.e., worksheets, course workbooks, supplemental downloadable resources to go with your book, lead magnets, etc), and marketing asset design like podcast

covers and social media banners. She offers a book style guide—a document with information on the fonts, color palette, and other design elements from your book design, so you can use them across other platforms on your own and maintain cohesive branding. Rachel also offers book coaching for authors looking for general advice on strategy and preparation for book design, formatting, production, and printing.
