Short biography:

From her first published collaboration in 2003, helping a physician to tell the story of her special needs daughter, through nearly a decade of producing feature articles as a lifestyles and magazine editor, and managing a group of freelance contributors, Lisa has dedicated her life’s work to writing, editing, and literary coaching. Since starting her business, Fine Lines, LLC (formerly Writesaid Solutions) in 2018, she has partnered with private and corporate clients to help develop their messages in print. She has also used her knowledge in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries to publish research and consumer education articles in these fields, as well as book-length biographical, self-help, history, and professional publications. Her repertoire includes corporate style guide development; non-profit and academic writing; and memoir editing and production.

“It isn’t unusual for clients to ask me to please ‘work my magic’ on their latest project. If a paragraph needs moving, I can move it with precision. If a story lacks that extra something to be engaging, I can identify and develop it. I love helping my clients find their voices and tell their stories. It is my pleasure to generate pages they are proud to send out into the world.”

Lisa received her bachelor‘s degree in English with an emphasis in both creative and technical writing. She also earned her Master of Arts in Teaching degree and is presently a certified writing and ELA instructor. She has been a freelance journalist, editor, and ghostwriter for 20 years. She is a wife, mother, cycling instructor, and trail runner living in the beautiful West Virginia mountains.
